We have an exciting opportunity for an Unscheduled Care Lead to join our Unscheduled Care team at HMP Eastwood Park, a Female Remand Prison located in Falfield, Gloucester.
The prison houses around 360 patients - all of whom are waiting to be sentenced. Based in a rural location, own transport is essential.
Hours
The site offers service hours as follows: you will work Monday - Sunday, 37.5 hours per week, covering various shift patterns.
* 3 shifts between Monday - Sunday at 12.5 hours a day (including nights).
Salary
This position is full time; you’ll receive an annual salary up to £55,996 depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
* Provide leadership and line management for those within the Unscheduled Care team.
* Provide outstanding evidence-based care to our patients by seeking out, listening to, and acting on feedback, ensuring patient engagement is at the center of service delivery.
* Provide day-to-day operational service delivery and data integrity in a timely manner to meet commissioner expectations.
* Deliver excellence in all areas of your role, providing non-judgmental, compassionate care within the prison that is safe, high quality, and in line with CQC requirements.
* Promote best practice in the field of unscheduled care, triage, and emergency response.

Qualifications required
* Degree or appropriate equivalent level of experience or clinical qualification
* Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
* Experience of working in CQC or equivalent registered services such as HMIP
* Experience of client management or meeting commissioner expectations
* Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Understanding of clinical governance
