Architectural Technician \n\nA leading house builder have an opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join their team based in Merseyside. The company work across a number of housing schemes throughout the North West region delivering new build properties ranging from 2 bed starter homes to 4 bed family homes.\n\nArchitectural Technician Role\n\nReporting to the Technical Director the Architectural Technician is a core role within the technical team and is the main contact hub with the Planning and NHBC Portals for the team and also the invoice tracking system and document management system controller to ensure a reliable and consistent approach is maintained with these vital systems.\n\nDuties and responsibilities:\n\nMain purpose of the role is to provide architectural support and technical guidance for both regional office and site-based operations\nPreparation of working drawings and provide details for site operations and manage design details for bespoke units\nResolve, monitor where appropriate site queries to progress product development\nCoordinate and manage various specialist suppliers and integrate their requirements into the working drawings packages\nProcure / produce architectural detailing where non-standard;\nProcure Building Regulation approvals;\nProcure landscaping related surveys, designs and management plans;\nProcure / produce information to assist the legal/sales team (deed plans etc) \n\nArchitectural Technician - Skills and Experience required\n\nThe successful Architectural Technician will have previous experience working on designs for new build housing developments.\n\nEngineering/Design related qualification\nExperience using AutoCAD and Revit\nHigh level of interpersonal skills and a professional attitude to work;\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills;\nExcellent architectural knowledge - particularly house types;\nProven track record of delivering Building Control approvals;\nExperience of planning, organising and prioritising own workload;\nExperience of managing consultants\nAbility to communicate at all levels\nSelf-motivated, resilient and ability to work under pressure. \n\nWhat's on offer?\n\nThe company are offering a salary of £35-40k + package, option of a company car or car allowance, pension scheme, healthcare, annual bonus scheme and various other employee benefits.\n\nWorking hours Monday to Thursday 8.15 - 4.30pm, Friday 8am to 4pm (37.5 hours)\n\nHow to apply\n\nIf you are looking to growing house builder with the opportunity to develop and progress in your career as an Architectural Technician, please contact Deena at Fawkes & Reece for a confidential chat or apply via the link provided
