We have a great opportunity for a part time Catering Support Assistant to assist the Cook/Chef in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages to people that attend day services based at the Park View Building.
This is a permanent role for 20 hours per week working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 09.30 - 14.30.

Duties include:
* Assist in preparing and cooking meals that are well presented, balanced and nutritious including catering to any special dietary needs.
* Assist in the accurate recording of food temperatures, stock control and rotation of provisions in line with Food Safety requirements.
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness/hygiene in all areas of the kitchen dining area and equipment.
* Deputise in the absence of the Cook/Chef when required.
You will be working with people who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities, older people and dementia, so we are looking for someone who is able to deal with customer’s needs in a positive and sensitive manner.
You will also need to have:
* Level 2 Food Safety qualification or be willing to work towards.
* An understanding of preparing food or working in a catering/hospitality environment.
* An understanding and experience of delivering excellent customer service.
* Experience of working effectively in a team.
