Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with behavioural challenges? Join our dedicated team as a Support Worker in a residential home, where you’ll provide care, guidance, and encouragement to help children thrive in their day-to-day lives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, your role will include:
* Assisting children with their daily routines, including getting ready for school and after-school activities.
* Supporting attendance at school and participation in extracurricular clubs.
* Helping with food shopping, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering emotional well-being.
* Engaging children in recreational and social activities to promote their development.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking individuals who are:
* Compassionate, patient, and understanding of children with behavioural needs.
* Reliable and able to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins.
* Strong communicators and able to work as part of a team.
* Experienced in similar roles (preferred but not essential, as training will be provided).
