About the role We have an exciting opportunity to join our HR Business Partnering Team, partnering with our Research and Development and Supply Chain functions within No7 Beauty Company. Our Research and Development teams are at the heart of our business as the great minds behind some of the biggest products ever launched in the UK Beauty Industry, whilst our Supply Chain make all of our global operation possible across multiple brands, markets and retailers worldwide. Our focus is firmly on staying on top as the number one Skincare brand, and we have no signs of stopping and our business continues to be on an exciting journey of change and transformation. To be successful in partnering this team you need to feel motivated and at home in a fast-paced environment, have an interest in the Beauty Industry and a desire to always elevate the function one step higher. You will report into the Head of HR – No7 and sit at the heart of the people agenda for the No7 Beauty Company, where you will gain an understanding of the function you partner, collaborating with the leadership team to deliver the global R&D and Supply Chain strategies with a robust people plan and talent agenda, allowing you to support development of the culture and leadership accountability. This role would suit a current HR Business Partner ideally from, but not limited to, a CPG background with experience in a matrixed global organisation, with strong stakeholder management skills who is looking to extend their experience looking at taking on their next big challenge. Key Responsibilities In conjunction with the Head of HR, steer, shape and deliver the people plan for the function that enables it to achieve its in-year objectives. Influence and help shape the longer-term people strategy for the area, developing creative and strategic HR solutions that drive performance and engagement. Be a trusted advisor to senior managers and leaders, coaching, supporting and influencing on all people lifecycle issues and the overall people agenda. Bring healthy and constructive challenge to conversations, influencing others to encourage a culture of continuous improvement. Manage and execute various HR projects, including colleague engagement, training and development, organisational change initiatives. Build strong and collaborative relationships with HR team members in other partnering teams, and the HR Centres of Excellence to ensure a joined-up approach across the function and bringing insight about wider organisational activities to each business area. Deliver workshops and resources to empower and develop managers and colleagues. What you’ll need to have Strong HR business partnering skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships and influence, coach and challenge senior stakeholders. A proactive, problem-solving mindset, with a focus on root-cause analysis and creative solutions. Strong collaboration skills, working as part of core partnering team and the wider HR community across WBA. A track record of driving strategic people initiatives and projects, from succession planning to organisational design. Experience of managing complex people change, partnering leaders and inspiring teams. Experience of managing complex ER cases, supporting colleagues and leaders. Genuine curiosity of trends, ideas and innovation in HR and ideas of how to apply them appropriately to business context. A keen interest in the Beauty Industry. It would be great if you also have CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience). Experience working a global or highly matrixed CPG organisation. The ability to present with strong facilitation skills.
