This is a great opportunity for an experienced Service Stew in the UK and join an exciting new-build estate in the Cotswolds. We are looking for a Service Stew with an excellent background in all forms of service who wishes to be land-based. With a wonderful work/life balance on offer, this role is perfect for someone who wishes to bring their skillset shore-side, whilst still working for UHNW clients within a luxury environment. - Must have a wealth of service knowledge and experience on yachts or within private households. You will be part of a small service team, reporting into the Assistant Butler and Head Butler. - Responsibilities will include daily service for the principals, service item maintenance and care, hosting and coordinating events when the principals have guests, drinks service and all front of house duties. - Service style will depend on if it is just the principals in residence, there will be a nice mix of more relaxed service as well as a need to provide a more formal setting depending on the occasion. Experience in a range of styles is important. Additional skills within service such as a strong cocktail and wine knowledge would be very advantageous. - This is an exciting time to join with lots of opportunities as the property moves into the operational phase. The role will start from the end of January onwards to allow time for things to fully be set up before the principals officially move in. - Lovely, creative principals who have a balanced life, mixing some exciting events and hosting as well as more peaceful periods. - There is a wider team onsite, made up of various different departments - with other staff also coming from a yachting background. - Salary will be discussed at interview stage and depends on experience. - The work schedule will see a 5-day working week with flexibility required to work 2 weekends a month on a rota basis. This said, you will still receive two consecutive days off a week. Hours will be 40 hours per week.
