The ultrasound department performs routine and complex obstetric and gynaecological scans to support antenatal and gynaecology outpatients, gynaecology oncology, and Post-Menopausal Bleeding clinics. All Sonographers scan and report autonomously and are supported for further development and training. In addition we have a self-contained Early pregnancy Unit with all day ultrasound cover, six days a week. Essential skill required for this role is gynaecology ultrasound at PgC level.
ABOUT THE TEAM
You will work closely with and be supported by the onsite Regional Fetal Medicine team who provide care to women and their families undergoing high risk or problematic pregnancies requiring specialist care and expertise. You will also work closely and be supported by our lead Obstetrician and Gynaecologist .
