Job Description:
New Care is seeking to appoint a kind, caring and motivated Head of Hospitality to join our team at Grappenhall Manor Care Centre, a purpose-built 70 bed care facility in Warrington, Cheshire. This role involves organizing the Hospitality Assistants and Care Assistants to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for residents.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Ensure there is a provision of high standard of hospitality service.
2. Support and assist visitors.
3. Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents.
4. Follow cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP.
5. Ensure that all training given is adhered to.
6. Ensure records and reports are properly written up e.g. cleaning schedules, work sheets, fridge temperatures, and that all HACCP paperwork is completed.
7. Manage, allocate duties and supervise the hospitality team ensuring quality delivery of care for the duration of the shift.
8. Coach staff and participate in ongoing development of staff.
9. Promote safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
Skills and experience required:
1. Dining or Restaurant Supervisor experience is essential.
2. Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.
3. Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team is essential.
4. Participation in activities organized in the Home is essential.
