We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Director to join our growing manufacturing business. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll be at the forefront of cultural and operational transformation, guiding our facilities toward excellence in efficiency and operational execution. Key Responsibilities: Lead the strategic and day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring the highest levels of productivity, quality, and safety. Spearhead cultural transformation initiatives to foster a high-performance, collaborative, and inclusive work environment. Develop and implement strategies to achieve World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards, focusing on continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence. Drive efficiency across production lines, utilizing lean principles, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce costs, and enhance output. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, supply chain, and HR teams to align operational goals with the overall business objectives. Monitor and optimize KPIs, ensuring strong performance across key metrics such as safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Lead and mentor a team of managers, creating a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a senior operations role within automotive, aerospace or similar manufacturing or a related high-volume, complex manufacturing environment. A track record of leading operational and cultural transformation projects, with measurable success in moving a facility closer to World Class Manufacturing standards. Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and develop high-performing teams.
