### Description\n\n \n\n**About the Role**\n\n \nThe Senior Manager within Entertainments and Leisure will be accountable for\nthe smooth planning and operational delivery of our entertainment and leisure\nproposition across our family breaks, live music weekends and resort-based\nevents at our Minehead Resort. \n \n\nFrom an entertainment perspective, this includes leading through all activity\nfor the entertainment teams, which covers Redcoats, performers, and our\ntechnical support teams. Managing the product delivery for activities, events,\nlarge scale production shows, Intellectual Property (IP) content, varied\nvisiting artistes and seasonal product.\n\n \nOn the leisure side, this includes overseeing all of our pool, sports &\nactivities and fairground proposition.\n\n \nOn a day to day basis, you will lead the team to deliver a memorable\nexperience to our guests, focusing on fantastic guest experience, high service\nstandards and delivery of budget.
This will involve both setting and rolling\nour strategy for the Entertainment & Leisure team, as well as getting stuck in\nto support the teams operationally where needed. \n \n\nCreating an environment that allows your team to perform at their best and\ndeliver an amazing experience will be high on your priorities, as well as\nconstantly being on the lookout for opportunities. ** \n**\n\n \n\n### About You\n\n \n\nWe are looking for someone who lives and breathes guest experience.
You should\nhave strong experience in a similar role within an Entertainment or Leisure\nEnvironment\n\n \nYou should have excellent experience in event management along with experience\nin working with and building relationships with external industry experts and\nsuppliers.\n\n \n\nStrong experience of being guest and customer facing is essential, as well as\ndealing with a range of queries and sometimes complaints directly.\n\n \n\nAn analytical mind with the ability to forecast and manage costs is extremely\nimportant for this role. You will always have the financials in mind but will\nbalance this with keeping our guest experience at the heart of your decisions. \n \n\nYou will need to be able to set strategic direction for your team whilst also\nbeing happy to be involved in the day-to-day operations, working closely\nalongside your teams to manage any challenges that arise.\n\n \nYou should have excellent communication skills and be confident engaging with\nteams at all levels.
