Job summary Symphony Healthcare Services (SHS) has a vacancy for a full time Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to work at Burnham-on -Sea, Berrow and Highbridge Medical Centres in Somerset. You will be joining a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, who were nominated for 'Team of the Year' at the recent South West Primary Care awards You will have significant experience of working in primary care and be competent in all healthcare assistant duties. Ideal applicants will have a genuine passion for patient care, the ability to communication effectively, combined with sound organisational skills to ensure they manage their own time and workload well, while delivering timely patient care. We have a permanent, full time vacant post of 5 days / 37.5 hours per week. The rate of pay for this role is £12.25, rising to £12.50 per hour, on the completion of a successful 6 month probation period. Main duties of the job Working under the direct supervision of the Lead Nurse / Practice Nurse and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the Healthcare Assistant will assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
