Working hours: 36.25 hours per week (Mon-Fri Phone cover 10am-3pm)

About the Role
We currently have an exciting vacancy within our Council Tax team to enable us to continue to build on our success. The role is customer-focused, dealing with customer enquiries and answering calls both internally and externally. The role is heavily administration-based, fast-paced, and target-driven. The position involves dealing with a variety of operational functions such as creating and amending Council Tax liability, applying exemptions, and discounts while also focusing on prompt collection. Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy are key.
About you
You will be required to work as part of a team, coordinating and prioritising the workload to ensure that all tasks are completed on time. You will deliver a professional service to our customers and will adhere to the Council’s policies and procedures. You will take ownership of certain tasks and work to deliver on targets set while maintaining a high quality of work. You will also be required to take responsibility for decisions you make and know when to seek guidance.
