Role Overview
The UK Sports Institute and Aquatics GB have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Physiotherapist to work with their World Class Programme in Loughborough.
Aquatics GB aims to enable its athletes to achieve gold medal success at the Olympics, Paralympics, and World Championships.
Role Summary
The Senior Physiotherapist will play a vital role in enhancing the performance of individual Aquatic athletes through to LA 2028 and beyond. This involves developing and implementing tailored injury and illness management and risk mitigation strategies for all WCP athletes within the PC and the surrounding region.
The successful candidate will craft and execute comprehensive physiotherapy strategies within the PC and across our decentralized network, focusing on injury & illness risk mitigation and performance enhancement. Active involvement in individual athlete planning and projects as directed by the leadership team is also expected. This role is part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, emphasizing teamwork and cooperation to meet the WCAP’s objectives.
