Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver “better trained sailors to the front line faster”. This role is an essential member of the Royal Navy’s Learning and Development Organisation (LDO). You will be involved in the provision and coordination of Learning and Development services including administration and organisation of resettlement support activities to UK Service Personnel during their transition into civilian life. This is a part time role working 30 hours per week. The hours of work can be completed across 4 or 5 days per week. Coordinating and booking all appointments, enrolments, course bookings and classroom bookings for the Hub Promoting and facilitating opportunities for accessing and funding learning opportunities Working with the team to arrange and conduct Learning and Development interviews Proactively raising awareness of Resettlement amongst Service Leavers, to ensure they are aware of the support they have access to. Previous administration experience would be highly desirable Must have a drivers license and vehicle to travel between local sites Must be flexible to cover local offices, as and when required. excellent communication skills, both vernal and written Military knowledge, would be an advantage. Must be able to be cleared to UK SC level About Selborne Selborne is a wide scale, 12 year transformation of Royal Navy Training. The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernise training for the RN.
