Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Salary: £83.85 - £90 Per day Job Duties: The Teaching Assistant will support the classroom teacher in delivering educational activities, assisting with lesson planning, and providing one-on-one support to students. Responsibilities include helping with classroom management, preparing materials for lessons, and supervising students during activities. Required Qualifications: Good communication skills Ability to work well in a team Experience working with children or young people Education: A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths is required. Additional qualifications in childcare or education are desirable. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development Ability to follow instructions and work independently Basic IT skills Preferred Qualifications: An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools would be advantageous. Working Conditions: The role may involve standing for long periods and occasional lifting of educational materials.
