The Role:
As a Senior CAM Programmer/Machinist, you'll be at the forefront of our engineering prowess, crafting precision components that fuel the speed demons on the track. Your mission is clear: program, set, and operate multi-axis machines with precision and diligence.
From car components to pit equipment, you'll play a crucial role in building the next-generation race car.
What You'll Do:
1. Create cutting-edge programs and machine components using supplied drawings and CAD files.
2. Maintain meticulous records of programs and tooling for all components produced.
3. Collaborate with management and Production Engineers to optimise machine tool efficiency.
Your Toolkit:
1. Previous experience in small batch precision manufacturing, preferably in motorsport or aerospace.
2. Craftsmanship with a proven track record in precision engineering.
3. Proficiency in OPENMIND CAM software.
4. Extensive experience with multi-axis machine tools.
5. Expertise in programming and control systems such as Mazatrol, Heidenhain, or Fanuc.
6. Familiarity with ISO or conversational CNC programming.
