Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated, long-term Dental Hygienist to become a valuable part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in promoting oral health and delivering top-quality care to our patients. Responsibilities include performing thorough dental cleanings, educating patients on proper oral hygiene, and collaborating with the dental team to ensure exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients.
2. Perform assessments of patients’ oral health, including charting and documenting findings.
3. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
4. Assist in the preparation of treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments are sterilised and ready for use.
5. Collaborate with dentists to develop individualised patient care plans based on their specific needs.
6. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
7. Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies, including medical imaging techniques.
Qualifications
1. GDC registered
2. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
3. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is preferred.
4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients.
5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing quality patient care.
6. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £40.00-£42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
Experience:
* Dental Hygienist: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* GDC Registration (required)
