We’re looking for a skilled CNC Machinist for our client based in Kintore on a permanent staff basis. If you have experience setting up and operating CNC machines, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring high-quality standards, this role is for you. Main duties and responsibilities
* Setting up and operating CNC machine tools accurately and efficiently.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications.
* Maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards at all times.
* Inspecting components to meet quality control standards before final release.
* Selecting appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
* Assisting in training apprentices and mentoring junior machinists.
* Ensuring material traceability and maintain documentation.
* Reporting any safety or environmental concerns promptly.
Applicants to this role require
* Competent in CNC machine operation and basic programming (Heidenhain, MAZATROL, Fanuc, or Siemens).
* Ability to read engineering drawings and use inspection equipment.
* Experience with offline programming software (e.g., Autodesk Fusion).
* Strong problem-solving and machining planning skills.
* Time-served machinist qualification preferred.
