Job Title: Inspection Review and Debrief Officer - HC620156
Location: Police HQ, Eastleigh
Salary: SO1 £35,526 - £37,692 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week

About the Role
To co-ordinate and manage HMICFRS and other external body inspections. To track and review requirements of recommendations and findings generated from external, and internal inspections. To provide direction, co-ordination and support to embed organisational learning across the Constabulary resulting in improved organisational performance and service delivery
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to -
1. To co-ordinate and facilitate all matters relating to HMICFRS inspections of the constabulary. This will include collation and quality assurance of data returns, provision of day to day support for the HMICFRS Force Liaison Lead, establishment of focus groups with internal colleagues and external partners and liaison with a wide range of colleagues to ensure that the Insight and Inspection processes are run efficiently, effectively and professionally.
2. To be a member of the force structured debrief team and conduct structured debriefs across a range of organisational and operational matters to ensure that organisational learning is obtained.
3. To provide advice and guidance to assist other departments in identifying solutions and strategies to resolve organisational issues.
4. To prepare written reports and deliver presentations as required to inform strategic managers on organisational learning issues arising from inspection, review and audit processes.
5. Work with the Inspection & Review Learning manager and Research and Learning Evaluation Officer to develop and deliver new internal processes to capture and disseminate issues and learning resulting from operational activity.
6. Comply with and promote Force policies and legislation, e.g. Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety, Human Rights, Freedom of Information Act and Data Protection.

Essential Qualifications
Educated to QCF Level 3 OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
Essential Experience
Ability to influence senor stakeholders
Good aptitude, ability and familiarity with computer systems in order to utilise them in the gathering of information
High degree of problem solving skills and organisational ability
Ability to analyse, evaluate and interpret information
Good communication skills - verbal and written; ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals from different social and professional backgrounds
A high level of self-motivation and innovation.
To be able to work effectively in a team and contribute positively and constructively to team planning processes.
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Ability to organise and plan own work time and be able to prioritise demands
