At Adler and Allan, we are on a tremendous growth path, with our Finance function developing into a first-class service for the organisation, we have identified the need of additional support in the shape of a Group Management Accountant.
In this newly created role, you will report to the Head of Group Accounting, in a team of 3. Your main aim is to produce all monthly balance sheet reconciliations, strengthening the financial control environment and business partnering with the central overhead depots to ensure month end performance is accurate.
More about the role:
* Responsible for preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and proactively resolving any issues
* Assisting Head of Group Accounting with production of Monthly Board Pack
* Responsible for assisting with the Head of Group Accounting with the production of Statutory Accounts for all Group Entities
* Presenting balance sheet to Head of Group Accounting as part of the monthly review
* Reconcile intercompany group accounts
* Assisting with VAT returns, reviewed by Head of Group Accounting
* Capital expenditure reporting and overall responsibility for fixed asset register
* Analysis on exceptional costs
* Ensure that the tax sensitive nominal accounts analysis is kept up to date
* Business Partnering with key stakeholder across the group around balance sheet and provision
* Review and challenge within cost spend produce analysis to stakeholders
* Ensuring that provisions/accruals are complete
* Assisting with the development the Division MI Packs so that they add additional value to the stakeholders.
About you:
It's essential you are a Qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA) to be a success in this position, bringing along your great experience in MA or similar type role
