This is an exciting opportunity to join Angus Health and Social Care Partnerships Adult Community Mental Health service. We are looking for two enthusiastic and passionate Social Workers to join our multidisciplinary team. One fulltime post is for North Angus and the other fulltime post is for South Angus. You will assess and support service users to achieve positive outcomes with their mental health recovery as well as supporting their carers and family. You will do this as part of multidisciplinary team made up of a range of professionals such as mental health nurses, occupational therapists, care coordinator, support workers, psychologists and psychiatrists. You will ensure the Health and Social Care Partnership delivers its statutory legal responsibilities involving Adults with Incapacity, Adult Support and Protection, Self-Directed Support and Carer Support and Involvement. You will need to evidence a commitment to, and promotion of, social work values within an integrated model of care. You will be required to have effective interpersonal, communication, assessment and writing skills and be able to work as part of a team and on a multi-agency basis. You will manage a caseload, carrying continuous responsibility for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of the provision of care and will participate in the continuing development of the service. You will joining a supportive team and will be provided with a period of induction and ongoing support from the Social Work Team Manager and Senior Practitioners.
