Hours: Mon – Fri 8:30am - 16:30pm / 30mins lunch
As Warehouse Assistant with our client your job role will encompass receipt, issuance, locating, picking, and despatching all commodities within the warehouse function, ensuring that all transactions are executed through our Warehouse Management System. During the execution of this role, there will be a requirement to use mechanical handling equipment and hand tools while following processes and procedures with an emphasis on continual improvement.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Packing all 3rd party and intercompany shipments being distributed from the facility.
2. Assisting with general warehouse tasks as requested in other sections within the warehouse.
3. Physically checking, counting, and packing materials.
4. Operating various storage and transport equipment, i.e., overhead crane.
5. Safe loading and unloading of trucks for shipments that arrive/depart the facility.
6. Responsible for complying with all company HS&E (Health & Safety) and warehouse procedural requirements.
7. Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.
8. Participating in NOV Observation Reporting System to identify potential hazards within the workplace.
9. Participating in on-call rota as required.
10. Responsible for carrying out a reasonable amount of overtime as and when required and in line with operational requirements.
11. Supporting the Warehouse Manager or supervisors in performing other duties as and when required.

Qualifications
Essential
9. Standard Grade Level of Secondary Education or equivalent.

10. Technical qualification related to the job role.
11. Basic IT skills with Word/Excel.

12. Computer literacy including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
13. Good communication skills.
Desirable
14. Practical training on all essential workshop lifting equipment including overhead crane and forklift trucks (training will be provided if required).
