The Job: As the Assistant Stock Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of stock management processes. You will be responsible for overseeing stock levels, supporting inventory control, and helping to maintain high standards of service to clients. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing stock levels, ensuring adequate supplies of materials and products are available to meet customer demands Coordinate and monitor stock movements, ensuring accurate records are maintained Support the Stock Manager in regular stock audits and stocktaking procedures Assist with the preparation and processing of orders, deliveries, and returns Collaborate with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure effective stock levels Identify and resolve stock discrepancies and supply chain issues Maintain up-to-date knowledge of stock levels, material specifications, and industry standards Ensure that all stock management procedures comply with company policies and health and safety regulations Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience in stock management, inventory control, or warehouse operations (ideally within manufacturing, or engineering sectors). Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
