Hours: 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Role
This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher who is looking for the chance to bring innovation and creativity to inspire learning in an SEN environment for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding, and you will be the custodian of our strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in decisions.
In partnership with our Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will provide clear, authentic leadership to our multidisciplinary team, establish school aims and objectives, ensure high standards of quality and compliance, and develop individualized learning programs for our pupils.
Who we are looking for
We seek an Assistant Headteacher with the experience, leadership skills, and vision to build futures by empowering students to be happy and successful. You should be educated to degree level or equivalent with Qualified Teacher Status, experienced in an SEN environment, enjoy leading a team, and be motivated to help every pupil reach their potential.
About the School
Upton Grange School caters to pupils aged 3-11, with a focus on engaging learners through diverse teaching strategies. Our pupils have a range of learning difficulties and styles, and are taught in smaller classes aligned with the National Curriculum where appropriate.
This position is located in Slough, near the rail station and within commuting distance of Maidenhead, Twickenham, and surrounding areas.
