Business Development Executive + £28 - £32k + Bonus scheme + 25 days holiday (plus BH)
Our client, one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of high-quality perforated metal products, is looking for an Internal Sales Executive to join them on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
The Business Development Executive manages a wide group of current and potential mainly small and medium-sized accounts with the company product range. The responsibilities include:
1. Managing the direct sales process to achieve nominated budget and performance targets.
2. Developing a profitable account business with high-quality service.
3. Ensuring appropriate administrative handling of quotes, orders, and claims.
4. Maintaining service and solution-oriented communication to achieve high customer satisfaction and conversion rates.
5. Executing on the agreed actions from local Go To Market plans.
6. Maintaining and updating relevant customer data in the company systems, including Salesforce CRM.
7. Establishing and building a customer-satisfying environment and delivering on contractual promises.
8. Executing on assigned tasks and actions to achieve budget and targeted sales growth.
9. Following company processes, work instructions, and provided IT systems.
10. Using provided sales and pricing tools and negotiating for improved margins.
11. Monitoring customer needs and complaints to provide information for business improvement.
12. Executing quality sales calls and selective visits to new and existing customers.
13. Day-to-day management of own sales performance and assigned actions.
14. Handling of sales orders, ensuring correct deliveries to customers.
Qualifications and Experience
* Commercial and/or administrative education.
* Team-oriented attitude and social skills.
* Smart, organized, and effective working methods.
* Qualified to execute on action plans and daily sales performance.
* Ability to conduct negotiations and make deals independently.
* Willingness to learn technical specifications.
* Energetic and articulate with naturally good communication skills.
* Commercially astute with the ability to spot growth opportunities.
* Ideally some experience in the metalwork industry, fabrication, or manufacturing (but not essential).
