Eden Scott's client is currently seeking a 6 Month Project Manager based in Scotland to lead and manage innovative technology projects within the banking or financial services sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, managing budgets, mitigating risks, and delivering high-quality solutions. This is a hybrid position based in Scotland, offering flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of technology projects from initiation to completion.
* Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Ensure project objectives align with business strategies and customer needs.
* Coordinate across internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution.
* Develop detailed project plans, outlining timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.
* Drive project execution, tracking progress against goals and making adjustments as needed.
* Identify bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions to ensure timely delivery.
* Work closely with IT teams, security specialists, and external partners to track project plans.
* Ensure that all technical and security requirements are met within the project scope.
* Facilitate collaboration between technical and business stakeholders.
* Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across various business units.
* Build strong relationships with senior management, business leaders, and technical teams.
* Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to key stakeholders.

Person Specification
* Proven track record of managing technology projects within the banking or financial services industry.
* Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
* Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
* Ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus in a remote working environment.
* Analytical mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
* Proactive decision-maker with a keen ability to anticipate challenges and act swiftly.
* Demonstrated experience in identifying, assessing, and managing project risks effectively
* Understanding of cloud technologies, data security, and compliance frameworks is advantageous.
