The Purpose of the Role The role of the Delivery Manager, is to form a key part of the Delivery Team working with one or more of our client accounts, managing projects of varying size and complexity using our Orbit Delivery Model. From initiation to closure, you will guard scope, budget, quality and time as you go. You’ll do this alongside Client Services, who own the client relationship together with the overall strategic direction of the work; and our Product Owners, who will own and drive forward the product strategy. How will you spend your time? Support smooth handover from Sales to Deliver, ensuring all initiation activities are completed (e.g. RAID log, budget tracker, SOW validation, team mobilisation). Collaborate with SMEs to develop technical documentation and seek approval from clients. Manage delivery through Agile ceremonies and tooling (Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheets etc). Maintain project visibility through Orbit artefacts: RAID log, status reports, burndown charts, milestone trackers. Coordinate pre-go live testing and launch readiness activities. Support handover to support or managed services, ensuring SLAs and runbooks are agreed. Facilitate post-implementation reviews (PIRs), lessons learned sessions, and Orbit-aligned closure processes. It’s important that you are experienced in 2-5 years direct experience in a client-focussed delivery role (as a Project/Delivery or Account Manager), ideally within an integrated marketing agency or digital consultancy. Solid grounding in digital production processes Strong understanding of Agile and Lean delivery practices, with the ability to adapt to Waterfall or hybrid models where necessary. Experience with delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, monday.com or Smartsheets. Ability to manage cross-functional teams (e.g. roles including Data Science, Data Engineering, Solution Architecture and QA). Ability to produce a high standard of work with excellent attention to detail. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, reporting, and risk management. Strong organisational skills with proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and execute tasks under pressure.
