Senior Quantity Surveyor
Actively recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for an award winning 5 star housebuilder to oversee various projects around the Oxford area.

This particular role is based on a project in Oxford, where you will be responsible for overseeing all activities on site, including procurement, subcontractor management, cost reporting, valuations, and ensuring financial performance across the project.
Key Responsibilities
Full commercial management of subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account
Preparation of monthly valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasting
Maintaining accurate records of cost movements and reporting into internal systems
Identifying and managing risk and opportunity within the project
Ensuring compliance with contract terms (JCT) and internal financial procedures
Leading on value engineering initiatives and cost-saving strategiesWhat We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a housebuilder or residential contractor
Strong understanding of JCT contracts and residential construction processes
Commercially astute with excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple subcontractor accounts and keep projects on budget
A proactive approach and desire to take full ownership of the role
Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (HNC, HND, Degree)Why Apply?
