Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
* Assisting in the delivery of lessons across Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths subjects
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to students to help boost subject understanding and confidence
* Helping students overcome barriers to learning through tailored academic and emotional support
* Supporting classroom management and helping to maintain a positive learning environment
* Assisting teachers with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom activities
* Encouraging engagement in STEM subjects through hands-on learning and problem-solving
* Helping track student progress and contributing to feedback and planning
* Inspiring students to consider further study and careers in STEM fields
Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
* A 2:1 degree or higher in a STEM subject (e.g., Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
* A genuine enthusiasm for STEM education and student development
* Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
* A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn
* Patience, resilience, and the ability to adapt to different learning needs
* An interest in a future career in teaching, education, or STEM outreach
