Job Title: Bank Registered Nurse – ITU Location: The Harborne Hospital, Birmingham Bank Pay: Bank hourly rate between £22.35 – £30.75 dependent upon shift. Rates inclusive of WTR include indicative additional amount separately payable on claiming accrued annual leave. WTR is calculated on the average hourly pay rate over the preceding 52 weeks and may therefore differ from the amount included in the above WTR rates The Harborne Hospital is seeking experienced ITU Nurses to join our Bank Team within the Intensive Care Unit. What you’ll do: Provide direct nursing care to patients within the ITU Unit Prioritise nursing care, recognizes deterioration in patient’s condition and escalates to the senior nursing team /clinicians immediately. Adhere to the NMC code of conduct and acts as the patient advocate at all times. What you’ll bring: At least 12 months ICU experience within an acute hospital setting experience working in critical care specialties including cardiac, cardiothoracic and general ITU Current nursing registration through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) required, with no restrictions to practice.
