About Us:Veritas are recruiting on behalf of a partner school in Accrington who are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to join their team on a part-time basis to cover for a member of staff who will be absent. This role will involve teaching a mixed Year 5/6 class, and we are looking for someone who can manage a challenging class with varying needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and behaviour concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum for Year 5 and 6 students.
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
* Supporting children with SEN, providing differentiated learning and tailored support.
* Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the classroom.
* Keeping parents informed of student progress and any issues that arise.
