Cash Allocation Manager based Epworth House, Derby
(Hybrid Working - 2 days a week)

We are excited to invite a forward-thinking cash allocation manager to join our team as we embark on an exciting new journey with the implementation of a new finance system. In this impactful role you will head up cash allocation strategies that play a part in ensuring our charities finance success and growth.
About the Role:
As Cash allocation Manager you will play a critical role within Operational Finance, managing the day-to-day operations of the cash allocation team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency whilst providing leadership to the team. You will determine and develop reporting requirements and generate those reports, providing regular analysis in relation to team activities, unallocated cash and other relevant metrics that will assist with identifying areas of improvement along with the implementation of best practice to enhance efficiency within the team.
You will play a crucial role in the roll out of the new finance system, ensuring seamless integration and optimisation for effective cash allocation.
Your role will involve:
Manage and allocate tasks across the team
KPI reporting
Support with allocation queries relation income
Ensure all statements are downloaded daily from the bank and uploaded daily into the system.
Support audit requirements, providing information where requested.
Ensure all Direct Debit ,Refunds, receipts, and payments are posted and allocated.
Maintain financial controls, document processed and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the team.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience in cash management, financial analysis, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
Excellent communication skills with a proactive mindset.

Well-organized, process-driven, confident, and results-oriented.

Key Requirements/Qualifications:
AAT, ICM or QBE
Previous experience as a Manager in a fast-paced finance function is essential. Experience in the charity or social housing sector is desirable.
Excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
