About the Role:
To work under the direct instruction of our Assistant Head for Inclusion
* To support students who struggle with their social, emotional and mental health
* Provide in lesson support to students who are behaviourally challenging
* Liaise with parents and care givers in line with school policy
About You:
We will provide the training you need to get off to a great start in this role. You will need:
· Good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade C/4 or above)
· Experience of working with children of secondary school age
. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
· Ability to relate well to children and adults
· To be able to work well as part of a team
· To have an understanding of Safeguarding
