A primary school in the M45 area is currently looking to recruit for a talented and dedicated Year 5 Teacher from April 2025 on a part-time basis until the end of the academic year. This school works hard to give their pupils access to a wide-ranging curriculum and encourages them to take an active interest in a whole host of subjects. They place specific importance on their pupils’ wellbeing and ensure to spend time building strong relationships founded on trust with both the children and their families.
About this role:
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play an important role in delivering the aforementioned curriculum and elevating the learning experience of your pupils.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering your own lessons each day.
- Marking and assessing the pupils’ work in order to track their progress and then deliver this feedback to parents/guardians
- Giving your pupils the support and guidance they need to fulfil their academic potential and meet their goals
- Managing behaviour in a classroom setting in line with the school’s behaviour policy and safeguarding measures.
- Creating and sustaining a positive learning environment based on support in which your pupils can thrive.
Requirements for this role:
- Applicants must have a QTS.
- An ambitious individual that is passionate about helping students achieve their full potential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a strong set of interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure all children are happy and successful.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
