Job Summary
* Ensure designated areas of the business are compliant and delivering a high standard of care.
* Ensure operations are in line with CQC regulations.
* Report to the Senior Management team on a regular basis.
* Take a hands-on approach when necessary to address issues.
* Register with CQC as the Registered Manager.
Principal Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CQC and Local Authority standards.
* Maintain clear oversight of all responsible services.
* Oversee the day-to-day management of all sites.
* Supervise Service Managers and Deputy Managers as needed.
* Ensure all required reporting is completed to a high standard and within the appropriate time-frames.
* Communicate effectively with external agencies.
* Oversee internal quality audits.
* Collaborate with the Quality Improvement Manager regarding complaints.
* Support services in safeguarding reviews.
* Assist managers and staff in consistently delivering high-quality care and support.
* Work in partnership with CQC and Local Authorities to maintain 'good' standards and work towards 'outstanding' ratings.
* Implement action plans using SMART principles.
* Ensure all Service User documentation is of high quality, fit for purpose, and follows a person-centered approach.
* Maintain extensive knowledge of current MCA/DoLS legislation.
General Responsibilities
* Support compliance with CQC requirements.
* Maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
* Communicate complex, sensitive, and at times contentious information effectively.
* Undertake all required core training and additional professional development as needed.
* Carry out other delegated tasks and responsibilities within the scope of the role.
* Adhere to organisational values, policies, and procedures at all times.
