Principal people are delighted to be recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a specialist Utilities, Civil Engineering, and Construction organisation who have a varied and diverse portfolio of projects. The client we are working with can provide an excellent level of training and development to a self-motivated Health and Safety professional with a desire to progress.
This growing and stable business with an excellent pipeline of projects located across the Yorkshire region, employs a predominantly direct workforce with a key emphasis on building relationships and this position will be at the forefront of all business activities from the design stage to completion.
A hands-on and operationally focused position, the successful Health and Safety Advisor will be based in an office near Leeds and visit sites frequently across the Yorkshire region.
The key responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor:
Provide Health and Safety guidance across multiple sites.
Conduct Health and Safety audits and inspections.
Support the Health and Safety Manager.
Undertake incident investigations and implement preventative measures to avoid similar incidents repeating.
Drive a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the wider business.
Engage and work closely with all areas of the business and clients.
The Successful Health and Safety Advisor will hold:
NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent.
Experience within Utilities, Construction, Civil Engineering or similar
Remuneration and benefits:
A basic salary of £45,000 - £55,000.
Company car (Hybrid and Electric options) or Car allowance
25 days plus Bank holiday.
