We are hiring a Junior IT Technician who will be required to provide IT technical support for our Somerset, UK site and remote workers and on occasion, be a back up support for our office in Germany. You will be requires to provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person as well as maintain computer hardware and software. The package for role: Permanent, full time Hours - 36 hours hours/week. Key tasks & Responsibilities: • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person. • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software. • Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues. • Help maintain inventory of computer equipment and software licenses. • Assist with network maintenance and administration. • Support the deployment of new software and hardware. • Document technical support procedures for future reference. • Provide training to end-users on basic software and hardware use. Essential Knowledge and Skills: • Strong interest in technology and IT support. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite. • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software. • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
