The Opportunity:
As the Surfacing Divisional Manager for Christchurch, you will be responsible for successfully leading all surfacing operations. You will have a focus on achieving operational excellence through efficiencies and innovation, while also providing technical expertise to ensure the long-term success of the division. Reporting to the Supply Chain Executive Divisional Manager, you will be an integral part of the senior leadership team.
The scope of the division includes six key business units; Paving, Sealing, 1st Coat Sealing, Watercutting, Milling and Roadmarking. These departments contribute significantly to the region’s overall integrated supply chain and are fundamental to Fulton Hogan’s business.
In addition to the above you will:
* Develop strategic annual business plans that align with Fulton Hogans group and regional strategy.
* Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and other key stakeholders.
* Ensure all surfacing operations are delivered to our customers, safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.
* Collaborate with key personnel to ensure development opportunities and succession planning across the division.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Relevant tertiary qualification or significant industry experience.
* Advanced technical knowledge of surfacing operations.
* Demonstrated leadership capability with a strong focus on people, safety and quality.
* Significant experience in effective stakeholder management and business development.
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and procedures.
* Strong financial and business acumen.
* Demonstrated experience managing and enhancing profit streams.
* A Reliable and self-driven nature to ensure continued success in your role.
