The Office Administrator and Systems Help Desk role is a dual-function position that encompasses administrative responsibilities alongside providing basic technical support for the company’s in-house application software. The individual in this role will ensure smooth office operations, manage administrative tasks, and offer first-line technical assistance to staff members. This position is ideal for someone that has great organisation and administrative skills, but also has a keen interest in improving their technical knowledge of IT applications. Full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Office Administration Administrative Support: Assist the Operations and Systems Manager with scheduling meetings, writing meeting notes, checking stock and sales information, preparing and printing reports. General Office Assistance: Helping the sales team with printing picklists and labels, maintaining office supplies, answering the phone and providing product data for customers. Systems Help Desk Technical Support: Provide first-line support for our company’s in-house application, escalating issues where appropriate and resolving problems in a timely manner. Application/Report Testing: Test changes that have been made to applications and Excel refreshable reports prior to them being released to the end users. User Maintenance: Create users on our in-house applications, and request user access from the IT department where appropriate for other software. Change requests: Log and track any application and report change requests. Issue Tracking: Log and track any application and report issues. Documentation: Create and update users guides and write release notes for application releases. Skills Experience: Proven experience in office administration and understanding of what is required from technical support. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good numeracy skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common IT applications, particularly Excel. Customer Service: A friendly and patient demeanour, with a focus on providing excellent support to staff members.
