Term time only plus 5 days INSET Required From: As soon as possible The Governors, staff and children at Christ Church CE Primary School are looking to appoint an excellent and hardworking Learning Support Assistant (Level 3) to share in our vision within our school. All children deserve the very best and we are looking for a professional who has a passion for the teaching and the learning of children and is committed to our school values. The school has an Executive Head teacher and works in partnership with Lewis Street and Lark Hill Primary Schools. The school has Place2Be, an on-site therapeutic counselling service. The LSA will work within the EYFs or KS1 team and will support the teaching and learning in class. The role will also involve some PPA cover. The successful candidate will: Have the appropriate teaching and learning level 3 diploma or equivalent qualification Promote and model the school values of EXCELLENCE; RESPECT; CHALLENGE and SELF-BELIEF Promote and model the school vision including infusing honesty and integrity into all of school life Develop high quality professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents, carers and Governors Contribute to the development of an inspiring culture for learning across the school Plan and differentiate to meet the needs of groups of pupils Deliver teaching and learning as part of whole class provision Understand the importance and impact of teamwork and collaboration Be committed and understands the importance of experiential learning Have the ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities Understand the functions of behaviour and have experience of positive behaviour management strategies and a commitment to the school s policy.
