Previous furniture delivery experience can be a benefit, but we find personality and the ability to learn new skills more important.
What does the role involve?
* Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes
* Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate
* Working as part of a wider distribution centre team in helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles
* Providing a brilliant service to our customers and encouraging their feedback
* Making sure the team is safe by carrying out checks and driving safely
* Working 44 hours over 4 days
* Heavy lifting
Who are we looking for?
* Previous experience within a driving role
* Full driving licence with no more than 6 points and a licence to drive a 3.5t vehicle
* Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements of operating a vehicle
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to follow process and procedure
* Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
* Have flexibility to work evenings and weekends
* Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling as this role involves heavy lifting
* Hard working
* Team player
* Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable)
