Acute Rehabilitation and Trauma Unit (ARTU)

Main Duties of the Job
We have a very exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful applicant will have good communication skills. We are looking for a committed team player who has high standards and is passionate about improving the patient experience.
(ARTU is a 27 bedded ground-breaking new unit, caring for acute patients stepping down from intensive care, or straight from theatres or A&E, requiring support to achieve their maximum potential for physical, cognitive, social and psychological function. ARTU is one of the first 'hyper-acute specialised rehabilitation' units to be developed within a Major Trauma centre.)
Within ARTU we have 8 level 1 beds caring for patients with Tracheostomy and acute trauma polytrauma needs.

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse on NMC Register
* Recognised qualification in teaching and assessing
Experience
* Experience as a student or Registered Nurse working within acute hospital settings
* Experience as a student or Registered Nurse working within neurosurgical and/or trauma & orthopaedic specialities
