Moor Rooms is a luxury holiday rental company looking to hire a Property Manager. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the business.
This diverse role requires a highly organized person who can multi-task in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment. The tasks are varied and will require someone who can manage their own workload, has a strong eye for detail, and a solid background in general administration.
This role will be based in Bampton, but it will be necessary for you to travel to the properties in the South-west. Predominantly full-time (8-5), Monday to Friday, but some weekend work will be required. Salary will be dependent on experience.
Temporary contract to start in March 2025, but an earlier start is possible. For the right candidate, there would be the opportunity to continue employment after the maternity cover on a permanent basis.
The role and your responsibilities
1. Oversee the day-to-day running of the business.
2. Manage booking enquiries and calendars and be responsible for converting these into sales to maximize revenue.
3. Be the main point of contact with customers between the point of sale and the end of their stay to answer any questions and troubleshoot any problems.
4. Responsible for day-to-day management of the properties, organizing staff rotas, managing cleaning teams, and liaising with maintenance and external tradesmen as required.
5. Manage and host certain guest stays, working with external parties to ensure clients' requirements are met.
6. Ensure best practice policies are in place and all Health & Safety protocols are up to date.
7. Manage and develop the Moor Rooms website, developing a marketing strategy to continue the development and growth of the business.
8. Work alongside directors to set future pricing.
9. Review and report on current sales figures vs budgeted figures to directors and property owners.
10. General administration.
The above list of duties is not exclusive or exhaustive, and the post holder is likely to be required to undertake additional administrative tasks for the wider company.
