About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with additional learning needs and help them achieve their full potential. This role involves providing one-to-one and group support, assisting with learning activities, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment. You will also be expected to manage challenging behaviours effectively, using your skills to de-escalate situations and encourage positive outcomes.
Additionally, this role may involve aspects of personal care. Applicants should be comfortable with this and possess a caring and professional attitude.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking individuals who:
Have experience supporting students with additional learning needs (ALN).
Are skilled in managing challenging behaviours.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Are compassionate, patient, and resilient.
Are willing to carry out personal care tasks where required.
Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable, though not essential. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is essential, and all candidates will be subject to background checks.
