Our client, a leading Energy company, is seeking a Permanent Junior Mechanical Engineer with 2 years of experience to join their dynamic team based in North West, England. In this role, you will be integral to the Engineering team, assisting in the delivery of diverse projects from Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) to commissioning phases. As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to shaping initiatives within the Nuclear sector, ensuring that engineering solutions are not only effective but also compliant with industry standards. You will engage in a variety of specialist tasks, helping to design mechanical processes and support technical studies related to essential operations. This position offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000 plus company benefits. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2 Years experience in Mechanical Engineering, preferably within the Energy or Nuclear sectors. Proficiency in delivering and organising technical studies and projects. Ability to support mechanical process design from strategic conceptual phases to detailed design. Familiarity with mechanical drawings, P&IDs, mechanical flow diagrams, and technical specifications. Understanding of mechanical handling systems, processes in high-active environments, and compaction technologies. Strong communication and networking skills for collaboration with internal experts and external clients. Willingness to travel regularly to othersites and client locations as required.
