About you
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support the daily activities of our business. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to develop their skills and grow within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
As an integral part of the team, you will work closely with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations, manage critical administrative tasks, and contribute to process improvements. You will also play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with our internal policies and regulatory standards.
Ideally, you will:
* Be highly organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
* Possess strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Be an effective communicator with professional verbal and written skills.
* Have a collaborative mindset, enabling you to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Show meticulous attention to detail when managing data and producing reports.
* Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement.
About the role
Key elements of the role:
* Provide essential operational and administrative assistance to various business areas, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities, including scheduling, meeting coordination, answering phones, and team communication.
* Manage and optimise records, databases, and dashboards to ensure accurate portfolio tracking, actionable insights, and compliance with reporting requirements, such as FCA reports, while driving data integrity, accessibility, and continuous process improvement.
* Oversee the processing of transactions within the loan lifecycle, including loan drawdowns, repayments, and invoice settlements, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
* Draft and prepare key documentation for Credit, Origination and Lending teams including professional instruction letters, Credit-backed terms and accurate loan statements.
* Monitor and maintain control processes, such as tracking insurance expiries, managing annual due diligence for borrowers, and overseeing the onboarding and offboarding of third-party service providers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to address challenges, optimise workflows, implement monitoring processes, and champion innovation by adopting new technologies and practices to drive operational excellence and align with company objectives.
