Overview:
Primis is working with a global consultancy seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the UK insurance industry, focusing on pensions, ISAs, or investment products. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills and a proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build relationships and trust with team and stakeholders.
2. Collaborate and communicate effectively with delivery squad, SMEs, and stakeholders.
3. Set up and facilitate workshops to elicit requirements.
4. Document PBIs and manage backlog effectively.
5. Process mapping capability – “as-is” and “to-be” processes in line with best practices (BPMN standard).
6. Challenge and question where appropriate to obtain the relevant level of information.
7. Work effectively both independently and as part of the team.
8. Proactive and tenacious in helping to drive progress.
9. Methodical and organised approach.
Experience:
1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the UK insurance industry, focusing on pensions, ISAs, or investment products.
2. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. BA experience and toolkit.
5. Protection experience would be a plus.
6. Experience with business process modeling and improvement.
7. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
