About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, providing strategic financial leadership, and ensuring sustainable growth. This role is office-based and requires a hands-on approach to financial management, compliance, and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute financial strategies to support business objectives.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Monitor and analyse financial KPIs to drive performance and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with UK statutory and regulatory financial requirements.
Manage cash flow, profit and loss (P&L), and cost optimisation initiatives.
Oversee internal and external audits to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
Lead and execute merger and acquisition (M&A) activities, including due diligence and integration.
Provide financial insights to support decision-making at the board and executive level.
Lead and develop the finance team to maintain high performance and efficiency.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and key stakeholders.
Implement and enhance financial systems, processes, and automation tools.
Drive financial efficiency initiatives and cost-saving measures.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with overall business strategy.
Maintain flexibility to visit and meet customers when required to support business growth.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Strong understanding of UK financial regulations, taxation, and corporate governance.
Extensive experience in budgeting, financial planning, and investment strategies.
Hands-on experience with financial systems, processes, and automation tools.
Expertise in managing P&L, cash flow, and cost optimisation strategies.
Strong background in internal and external audits, financial compliance, and governance.
Experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), due diligence, and integration processes.
Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and drive alignment on financial objectives.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel and meet customers as needed to support business growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
