As a Community Teacher, you will deliver tailored academic and pastoral support, helping to re-engage students in their learning journey. About You: We’re looking for an inspiring teacher with a commitment to supporting students who have faced challenges in their educational journey. Requirements: Hold a teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or be willing to work towards one. Degree-level education or equivalent, with Maths and English qualifications at Level 2 or above. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage student behavior effectively. Experience working with students with diverse and challenging needs, ideally within an alternative education setting. Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusion practices. Proven ability to work collaboratively with families, community organizations, and other stakeholders. Experience teaching across the secondary age range is essential. Familiarity with virtual learning environments and specialist teaching qualifications are desirable but not required.
