Logistics/HR Administrator at Whittaker Engineering Limited - currently on maternity leave
About the role: Whittaker Engineering Ltd has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced project Engineer. This role would be based at our Stonehaven offices, working within the project engineering team to oversee the timely delivery of manufacturing jobs and offshore projects to client milestones, within budget and to the highest quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Directly oversee the timely delivery of manufacturing and offshore projects
* Liase with clients to understand and interpret specifications and requirements
* Construct a cost, time and resource breakdown and provide quotations to clients
* Define project work scope and communicate with all the relevant departments and third parties
* Plan, coordinate, monitor and assist all departments, third parties and suppliers to ensure projects deliverables are produced to client milestones, within budget and to the highest quality
* Prepare documentation to present to clients and third parties
* Demonstrate behaviour consistent with Whittaker Engineering core values
* Cooperate with regulatory authorities and/or third parties to ensure compliance with acceptable regulations
* Work in a methodical, structured and safe manner within Whittaker Engineering guidelines
* Ensure client requirements are met
Requirements:
* A degree in a relevant mechanical engineering field or similar discipline would be advantageous but is not essential
* Previous experience in a Project Engineering role is essential
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Familiar with CAD packages (preferable Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD)
* Have an understanding of QA systems
* Confident communicator with clients, technical authorities, and workshop tradespeople
* Be willing to travel if required
